The Lenovo ThinkAgile HX1021 Certified Node is a Hyperconverged solution based on the Intel® Xeon® processor D-2100 that consolidates compute, storage, and virtualization software into simple building blocks, easily managed in scale-out clusters through a single interface for meeting edge computing requirements
The condensed design of the solution allows new compute possibilities directly where data is being generated such as a retail, manufacturing units, gas stations, restaurants and beyond.
Secure, Compact Size and Rugged HCI Systems for Remote Locations
ThinkAgile HX1021 is a purpose-built edge server for compute and storage optimized on Lenovo’s highly reliable server, preloaded and validated with Nutanix Cloud OS Hyperconverged software.
Today, remote locations are forced to make a choice between underpowered IOT gateways and PCs, or overpowered and non-rugged data center-centric servers. Now they have an option—a right-sized compact compute and storage server designed specifically to meet the needs of remote locations. This lets you shrink your server footprint, maximize resources, and scale easily by adding more HX nodes as your business grows.
The Lenovo ThinkAgile HX Edge Solutions is based on a 1U height, half-width, and short-depth Edge server that can go anywhere. It can be hung on a wall, stacked on a shelf, or mounted in a rack. This rugged Edge server can handle temperatures from 0-55°C as well as tolerance to locations with high-dust and vibration.
Centralized IT Management and Operations of Remote Systems
Use Nutanix Prism for one-click planning, provisioning, insights, ongoing system health monitoring and firmware updates across thousands of locations to reduce the complexity and hassle of your IT operations. Lenovo XClarity can be used in concert with Prism for comprehensive management.
